Apple Valley Community

The City of Apple Valley is located in northwestern Dakota County, Minnesota. A suburb of the "Twin Cities" (Minneapolis / Saint Paul), it was previusly known as Lebanon Township but incorporated in 1969 as Apple Valley. It is the home to almost 46,000 residents.

Apple Valley Education

The Independent School District 196 serves the residents of Apple Valley, Rosemount and Eagan. In Apple Valley in particular, there are six elementary schools, three middle schools and three high schools. The schools are nationally recognized for their quality of education.
